This autumn I'm finding inspiration in the cool, bright greens that I encountered recently in the Western sea lochs of Scotand.  Mr Lovely took me there to visit some of his favouite places. It was a revelation to me and I can't wait to get back. I'd never before seen such clarity of colour and yet with an overwhelming feeling of peace too. Usually vivid colours will be very exciting for the senses, the opposite of calm.  The challenge when painting the area was to ensure a peaceful feelingwhilst using the brightest, clearest hues.  I think this works.
