"Ah - the Cote D'Azur - there's nowhere like it. The beaches are golden, the sea turquoise - but get in land a few miles and the real Provence is there to explore. In 2015 was lucky enough to spend a month as 'artist in residence' at Vallauris - a mile or two inland from Cannes and here, the sweetest people, the nicest cafe. Home made, home grown food, one menu - whatever the chef (Olivier) is cooking that day. Here he is presenting his bouillabaisse. Spectacular. Happy times."
