Remember yesterday’s dog vote question?

Well, they got in and the painting got finished and it got delivered to the lovely Jess at Oriel Cardi Bach in Cardigan West Wales.

Albert and I then went to deliver the new leaflets to @Crwst at Poppit had some tea English coffee from them and got a walk on the beach.

That’s what I call a beautiful day!

…. Connecting with people who fall in love with a painting.

Here I am in my studio painting away getting inspiration putting it onto canvas - calling it finished - even though I feel it never is. And then maybe a week later maybe a month later maybe a year later it’ll be 10 years later. Someone sees that painting and wants in their life.

The thrill of this connection is indescribable, it completes the creative circle.

Some days are really extra special like today. ✨🎨🥰 I sold not one but two of these beautiful little Dog Star paintings, to separate people and separate parts of the country.

So where I wonder is the new owner for the third one? This little guy on the end with the star between his tail and his nose, is looking for his forever home.
It’s acrylic on canvas, 27 x 27 cm framed and it’s yours for £295. International postage not a problem.

It's certainly been interesting weather for surfing the last few days in West Wales. Tucked up in the comfort of my studio this is how I like to imagine it 🎨😊😂

Want to start painting? return to painting or develop your painting skills further - of course you do - so come join me in the Art Class.

FOR everyone - enthusiastic beginners to career artists, as well as those who want creative community and connection throughout the autumn months.

Weekly 90-minute sessions.

Meeting in person online every week, learning builds session by session, via structured lessons and demonstration paintings.
You are welcome to paint along or simply watch the sessions. Each week there will be time to review individual work and have feedback on paintings if desired.

It’s of my local beach MWNT, and it’s a place where you can frequently see dolphins quite close to the shore. You can catch some nice surf waves and there’s also a beautiful sandy beach for the children and I forgot to mention the most fabulous café ever my friends at @cabanmwnt
